Education Information from a Family Member
KVSP associates with Coastline Community College in South Orange County. The college website gives no recognition to this program so you can't find anything anywhere. The Education Counselor's name is Baxter.
The fastest way to get in is to have the family member or loved one call the prison and ask to speak with the counselor. You will need to have the inmate's CDCR # and his housing location. He will send the inmate the enrollment forms. Your inmate will need to send you a list of all the books he needs. You can order them online and have them sent the books to the prison, Attn: Counselor Baxter. Also include the inmate's CDCR # and his name if it will fit.
I recommend getting the books from somewhere other than tht college if you can. It will be a LOT cheaper that way. Just make sure that you order the right ISBN #. That is the code name given to the book to classify each edition. The college will send the inmate a letter saying if he has been accepted or not. (IF he writes a permission letter, they will release the information directly to the family member or loved one.)
PS: Summer enrollment is coming up!
