There is a statewide VISITING HOTLINE that anyone can call to find out if Visiting is open at any prison. This VISITING HOTLINE is updated during the weekends. It includes information on VSPW.

and follow the directions. VSPW is a "Central Valley" prison, located in the 209- and 559- area codes. It is choice #4 on the Selection menu. There are nine prisons listed, and VSPW is #9.

If the VISITING HOTLINE doesn't have current information, then you will need to call the prison, at 1-559-665-6100, extension 5708. That is the Visiting Office extension.
